Magda joined Counterculture from Tate to work on the growing Counterculture capital projects portfolio.

Magda has over ten years’ experience working in arts organisations delivering capital projects, in music production, touring and programming roles. She has worked at the Barbican Centre, Tate and ICA classical music management agency. Magda’s work at Tate Modern focused on client fit-out and occupation of the new Blavatnik Building extension at Bankside.

Recent projects at Counterculture include co-ordination of the planning stage for a new cultural venue for S1 Artspace on Sheffield’s Park Hill estate and overseeing a re-design of the learning suite in Tate Modern.

Magda has a keen interest in 20th century architecture and has been a Barbican Architecture Tours guide since 2015.
